Things You Need to Become a Strong Christian

Always study the Bible.
The Bible is the Word of God. It is from it that you can know God the more and know how to love and serve Him. It gives nourishment to your inner man, just as ordinary food gives nourishment to your body.

As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby (1 Pet 2:2).

Always pray to God as your Father.
Do not relate to Him anymore as a ruthless Judge that is far away, who does not care for your needs, but is waiting for you to fall so He would condemn and punish you. Rather, begin now to relate to Him as a real, loving and caring Father, who knows all your fears and cares, and who wants to help you.

And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, Abba, Father! (Gal 4:6).

"In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name (Matt 6:9).

And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God. (Jn 16:23,27).

Maintain constant fellowship with God through Praise, Thanksgiving and Worship.
Through these you will enjoy an intimate loving relationship with God.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name (Ps 100:4).

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him (Jn 4:23).

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thes 5:18).

Maintain constant fellowship and friendship with other Born-Again Christians.
Attend and be effective in worship, bible study and prayer services with other Born-Again Christians. When you fellowship with other believers, you enjoy the privilege of mutual strength and corporate protection. Moreover, in fellowship, you learn from other peoples experiences and enjoy the blessings of corporate anointing.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. For there the LORD commanded the blessingLife forevermore (Ps 133:1-3).

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching (Heb 10:25).

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers (Act 2:42).

Always rely on God for all your needs.
Do not depend on your own wisdom and strength or put your trust on anyone else. Trust in God. Have faith in Him and you will experience His power in your life.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths (Pro 3:5-6).

Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, he returns to his earth; in that very day his plans perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God (Ps 146:3-5).

So Jesus answered and said to them, Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, Be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them (Mk 11:22-24).

Your confession should always be:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil 4:13).

Begin to tell your friends about the love of Jesus. That will make you most useful to the Kingdom of God and bring you great eternal reward.

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain (Jn 15:16).

Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season (2 Tim 4:2).

He who wins souls is wise Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever (Prov 11:30; Dan 12:3.)
