Important Things To Note

Temptations would come.
These are appeals by the devil to you to do things contrary to your newfound faith in Christ. There is nobody that does not face temptations. You must not yield to them. You should resist them by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
�No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it� (1 Corinth 10:13).
Satan would attack you.
He is not happy about your newfound faith and would want to destroy your life or your comfort. You must therefore be at alert, equip yourself with God�s weapons of war, and fight and overcome Him.
�Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith� (NIV 1 Pet 5:8-9).
�For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God� (Eph 6:12).
�Resist the devil and he will flee from you� (Jam 4:7).
