Key Passage: Romans 16: 19 - 20

For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

The promise of God is certain to His saints: the forces of evil shall soon be humiliated and crushed. Paul wrote the Roman Church in the face of their conflicts with the agents of Satan operating in their midst, engendering strife, division and falsehood. He encouraged them to persevere in faith and constantly resist those forces, with the certain hope that Satan will be shortly crushed.

Today we are faced with various manners of satanic invasion against our world, manifesting through deception, falsehood, witchcraft, and occultism. These forces of darkness have permeated every facet of the human society and have also found their way into the body of Christ – the Church. But there is a certain promise from God, the Author of true peace, that all these forces will soon bow to His sovereign power through us, His saints, as we arise in spiritual warfare and persevere in faith. And Just as Christ, the Seed of the woman bruised the head of the old serpent (Gen 3:15; Gal 4:4), we, the soldiers of Christ, shall triumph over Satan and the forces of darkness.

The word of the Lord to you as a child of God is to stand in faith and fight against the forces of evil around you. Pray in authority against these forces of deception, falsehood, witchcraft and occultism. Remember that you are a soldier in the army of the Lord, and you are not alone in the fight (Ps 60:12, Lk 10:18-19). God is with you and will grant you the victory. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
