GREAT
THINGS PAST FINDING OUT
Key Passage: Job
9: 4, 10
[God]
is wise in heart and mighty in strength; Who does great things
past finding out, yes, marvelous things without number – Amp.
Not long ago, I attended the 65th Birthday anniversary
of an anointed Minister of the Gospel. He shared with us the testimony
of an experience he had while growing up. He fell into a deep narrow
well while drawing water, and there was no one to rescue him. He
was able to swim to stay afloat in the well for a while, but soon
got weary and could not hold on for much longer. After a long time
of crying for help, he heard a faint voice that was saying, “Somebody
is inside the well! Somebody is inside the well!” The boy thought
that help would come, but it did not for a long time. That faint
voice persisted, until he heard another voice saying, “Do you
know it is true? Someone is really inside the well!” That second
voice shouted for help and soon after, a long rope came down to pull
out the drowning boy.
It happened that the first person who heard the
voice of the boy was an insane man that roamed the village. When
he saw the boy he began to call for help, but no one believed him,
because he was mad. However, he did not keep silent. He kept calling,
until a passerby dared to check. That was how God used a madman to
deliver a boy, who later grew up to become an anointed minister of
the Gospel.
The ways of God are past finding out and His works are marvelous; there is
none with whom we can compare Him. In 2 Kings Chapter 7, God used four lepers
to bring prosperity to the drought stricken people of Israel. That same God
will work miraculously for your redemption and deliverance. He chooses the
foolish things of the world to confound the wise and weak things to confound
the mighty (1 Corinth 1:27).
Praise the Lord for His wondrous works and His faithfulness. Pray that God
will frustrate every plan of the enemy to destroy your destiny; and that
He will move wondrously to establish His divine counsel in your life.
