God is Almighty, and He is faithful to His word. As long as you
are holding to His promise, you need not worry. He will surely
fulfill all He has promised. Even when the promise seemed unrealizable
or the situation seem impossible, continue to trust Him and you
will experience His miracle working power. Who could have thought
Abraham and Sarah would have gotten a son at their old age? Who
could have thought that Moses would have delivered Israel from
the hard bondage of Egypt with a shepherd’s staff? Who could
have thought that the whole multitude of Israelite men, women,
children and the aged would have walked through the Red Sea on
dry ground, while the whole of the Egyptian soldiers were drowned
by the same sea? When God who made all these possible speaks over
your situation, you should better believe Him. He is a master over
impossibilities. He will surely do what He promised.
God is mighty in power. His name as “Elohim” reveals Him as “The
God of might” – “The All-powerful Creator”. He
made all things that are. Nothing is impossible for Him. He can do whatever
He wills and none can hinder or resist Him (Isa 14: 27).
Moses was overwhelmed by the demands of the lusting Israelites and by the
promise of God for miraculous provision. He tried to size up himself with
the challenge of placing meat on the table of about 600,000 families, but
fainted in his heart. He forgot that it was not him, but God Almighty that
promised to provide His people’s demand. But God awoke him with a
rebuke – “Moses! Has My hand become shortened?” “Has
my ability and power become thwarted and inadequate?” (Amp).
He said, “Watch and see whether I will do it or not.” And surely,
He did it. He sent a powerful wind that brought quail all around the camp
and the people had more than enough to eat.
We must not make the mistake of thinking that our impossibility will become
God’s impossibility. God is not a man (Num 23:19). His hand is never
short to save or deliver (Isa 59:1). Nothing is too hard for Him (Jer 32:17).
When we put our trust in Him, we must let our faith rest secure in His
power and faithfulness. The Scripture says, “Do not throw away
this confident trust in the Lord, no matter what happens” Heb
10:35 (NLT). “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do
it” 1 Thess 5:24.
Pray, Lord,
give me the courage to always trust you even when the situation
seem impossible.
