Key Passage: Habakkuk
2:4, Hebrew
11: 3
"Behold the proud, His soul is not
upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.”
“ Through faith we understand that
the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which
are seen were not made of things
which do appear.”
“Take the Sign Down!” That was the demand,
a Christian lady from Philadelphia, United States, testified that
she made to the owner/seller of the house they desired to purchase.
They had looked for a decent house to move into but could not find
one for a good price. They later saw an ad for a bungalow and decided
to check it out. On seeing the building and the terms of purchase,
she had the impression in her heart, “This is where to end
the search. This is the house God wants us to have.” Though
they did not have all they needed to purchase the house, she believed
that God will make it possible. She then turned to the owner and
said, “Take the sign down! The deal is closed!” The owner
hesitated, but she insisted and encouraged the husband to take the
sign down. That sign went down and never went up again. God provided
miraculously and they got the house.
The testimony reveals the kind of outflow that should come from a
person who firmly believes the promise of God. True faith is active
and not passive. It does not just believe, but is fully persuaded
(Rom 4:21). It is ready to step beyond the realm of believing into
the realm of confessing and acting in consonance with its conviction,
because it is certain on the faithfulness of God. That is the dimension
that makes our faith perfected and turns our hope into “substance” (Heb
11:1).
Jesus said, "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this
mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and
does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says
will be done, he will have whatever he says” (Mk 11:23). “For
with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation” (Rom 10:10). Great power
is given to our believing when it is verbalized. That is how God
framed the world, and that is how a Christian can live victoriously
(Heb 11:3; Hab 2:4).
Awake, today to active faith and begin to live by the power of God.
Begin to speak to the mountains before you and see them move in line
with the will of God. Decree the plans and purposes of God for your
life and see them established. Prophesy to every dry bone in your
life and experience the resurrection power of God.
Pray, In Jesus
name, I speak to every mountain in my life to move; and I decree
success and victory in my entire life endeavor.
